About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Network and Security Engineer to strengthen our team. This position demands comprehensive knowledge of network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and managing resilient and efficient networks across data centers, routing and switching, and wireless communications. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge in Cisco technologies, including Cisco ACI and Cisco NDFC, as well as familiarity with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet solutions. Experience with Linux is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks that meet business needs.
Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and detailed design documents for network infrastructure.
Work closely with Project Managers and customers to ensure project deliverables align with business requirements.
Efficiently manage time to accommodate multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware and software.
Implement strong network security measures to protect company data.
Perform regular network performance tests and provide analysis to optimize operations.
Delegate network maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to junior network staff.
Resolve escalated network support issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain comprehensive network status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide critical support and manage projects after hours and on weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
Significant experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator, particularly in data center environments, routing and switching, and wireless technologies.
Required professional certification (e.g., CCIE, CCDP).
Profound knowledge of network administration and architecture.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and experience with routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Logic Monitor).
Proficiency in network operating systems such as Cisco IOS.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions under pressure.
